Terms and Conditions

1. Orders, Payment & Sales Compliance

All orders are custom and made-to-order.

Full payment is required at the time of ordering to secure your purchase. Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received and accepted by Angel Bear Bakery.

Angel Bear Bakery operates under the Virginia Cottage Food Law (VDACS Home Food Processing Exemption), which requires direct-to-consumer sales. All transactions are completed through direct communication and in-person pickup.

Accepted payment methods include Apple Pay, and Zelle.

Prices are subject to change at any time; however, confirmed and paid orders will not be affected.

2. Production Schedule & Pickup Policy

Angel Bear Bakery operates on a scheduled baking system.

Orders are grouped and prepared within designated baking windows (typically 2–3 days per week). All customers will be assigned a designated pickup day and time once their order is confirmed.

This system ensures:

Freshness of all baked goods
Efficient production scheduling
Compliance with cottage food direct-to-consumer requirements

Pickup must be completed on the scheduled date unless otherwise approved in advance.

If a customer is unable to pick up at the scheduled time, Angel Bear Bakery must be contacted as soon as possible. Rescheduling is not guaranteed.

3. Pickups & No-Shows

Pickup details including date, time, and location will be provided upon confirmation.

If an order is not picked up at the scheduled time and no communication is made, the order will be considered abandoned and no refund will be issued.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

Due to the custom nature of baked goods, all sales are final.

Cancellations made after payment are not guaranteed a refund.

Refunds or credits, if issued, are at the sole discretion of Angel Bear Bakery.

No refunds will be issued for completed or prepared orders.

5. Sales Method Compliance

All products are sold directly to the customer in accordance with Virginia Cottage Food Law. Products are not shipped and are only available for in-person pickup or direct exchange.

6. Allergens

All products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, and nuts. While precautions are taken, Angel Bear Bakery cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

Customers are responsible for disclosing allergies prior to ordering.

7. Product Variation

All products are handmade. Minor variations in appearance, size, or decoration are normal and do not affect quality or taste.
